About Us

On South Main Street in Washington Court House, the Elks Lodge has long been the kind of place where you actually know the person sitting next to you at the bar. It earned a 4.7-star rating from members and guests because the experience here is genuine. Friday regulars will tell you the steak nights are the reason they showed up the first time and the people are the reason they keep coming back.

The BPOE (Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks) was founded on the principle that charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity aren't just words on a plaque. At this lodge, those values show up as a Mother's Day breakfast that families look forward to all year, as fundraisers that funnel real money back into Fayette County, and as a hall that opens its doors for the kind of community gatherings that most towns have lost.

Walk through the front door and you'll find cold drafts, familiar faces, and a calendar packed with events. This is a members-driven organization, which means the people who run it are the same people who eat dinner here on Saturday night.

What We Offer

Steak night is the anchor event, drawing members and guests for hand-cut steaks cooked to order alongside classic sides and ice-cold drinks. The lodge dining room fills up fast, so arriving early is the move.

Beyond the grill, the lodge hosts holiday breakfasts like the popular Mother's Day spread, private event rentals for banquets and celebrations, and a full bar stocked with domestic and craft options. Community fundraisers, scholarship programs, and youth outreach initiatives run throughout the year, connecting the lodge to families across Washington Court House in ways that go well past dinner and drinks.

Membership opens access to all of it, including reciprocal visiting privileges at Elks Lodges across the country.

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
